About Me

At the age of 14 Tim Verhees (°1982) started producing and composing material with a basic sound module and a midi piano hooked up to a Roland MC500 sequencer. When he discovered his first real club track (Speedy J – Pull Over) he was so impressed by the simplicity and the power of the sounds and he became interested in club music. Besides trying to make catchy tunes, he didn’t forget that it’s all about making music from the heart.

A few years later, Tim had his first release with “Love Generator” (following in Robert Miles’ footsteps who had a hit record “Children”) and a remix was produced by the legendary DJ Maurizzio.

Meanwhile Tim had already produced several clubtracks for the Cherry Moon label under the name of ‘DJ Bassett’ and ‘Tonic’. He also remixed the song ‘Do you think’ on Raf van Brussel‘s most recent album. You can find some of Tim’s work on different compilation albums such as Disco Nouveau, Cherrymoon and Topradio.

Tim then created Noso Project as a platform for releasing dance-remixes of his own and other artist’s material, amongst others a Radio Mix of Patsy Blackstone’s ‘I can’t sleep’, on which he collaborated with Evert Verhees (Supertonic Music). Under the name of DJ Bassett he created the hypnotizing ‘Flavor Mix’ and the propulsing ‘Trance Mix’ of the same song , and he got remixers Numix (Maarten Ilegems en Arthur de Kegel) involved, who created the steaming ‘Clubby Mix’.

More recently Tim has released some exclusive lounge tracks for the famous Belgian internet radio Crooze.FM

Over 20 new tracks will be released on the famous USA IMPORT MUSIC Label and a first EP of Tim’s new project “Dubmask” will be released on the well-known Morse Record label in 2011.
