Shir Khan has been busy the last months with touring Australia, Brazil (support for LCD Soundsystem), Canada (Support für MSTRKFT), the US, England, Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Ukraine hitting top venues such as FABRIC in London and NITSA in Barcelona among many other great places all over the globe.
He took part at SXSW-Festival (Austin, Texas/US), MELT!Festival (Germany), FUSION FESTIVAL, LOVEPARADE, DISTORTION (Denmark) and ELEKTRONIKA Festival (Belo Horizonte). He has played on the bill with SIMIAN MOBILE DISCO, DIGITALISM, JUSTICE, BONDE DO ROLE, RIOT IN BELGIUM, YUKSEK, PEACHES, ZOOT WOMAN, MSTRKRFT, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM and many others.
IDJ reviewed his Mix-CD SHIR KHAN - MAXIMIZE! as one of their "finest compilations of the year". "Maximize!" was also featured in M8's top compilatons for 2007 round up (#11). His remix for Bonde do Role (out on DOMINO) has received great airplay by all top players in the Dj-Game and even appeared in some TOP10 as one of the best remixes for 2007 (Time Out/Tel Aviv).
His own label EXPLOITED with artists such as ADAM SKY, SIRIUSMO and remixappearances by MODESELEKTOR, CROOKERS, TOMBOY, PRINCESS SUPERSTAR has been supported by DIPLO, A-TRAK, SINDEN, JUSTICE, DIGITALISM, HEADMAN, BONDE DO ROLE to name a few.
