working name is halfmonk. i make glitchy beats on laptop and textural noise using extended technique guitar (i.e. devices and electronics to mutate the frequencies). born in kingfisher oklahoma. spent time in chicago. learned to play blues, r&b and jazz there. been living in LA for a long time. heavy in the improvised music scene. i do music for tv and film sometimes. married. wife is video artist and designer. our dog is a black chow mix with a black tongue named vlad the impaler. i have many recordings released on small obscure labels. i have new cd of guitar noise duets dropping in march 08 on sick room records with nels cline. other projects sleepr wave: downtempo warped groove with semi pop vocals.
