Refusing to be compartmentalized, put in a box or labeled, Charlie makes music for himself with
a loyalty to his listeners and the instrumentation. His stage presence is powerful, unique and
unfettered. Each verse and hook are crafted using inspiration from the instruments themselves
and the emotion that is channeled in that moment, always making sure his words bring his public
to a higher plane.
He rocked the side stage before Lil Wayne’s show in Long Island last August and is starring
in a national television commercial that started airng this January. Recently, this forthcoming
TV spot was aired in a segment on NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams and featured by
The Washington Post. The commercial is part of a $300 million campaign by the US Census
to get people to fill out the form in 2010. Charlie is also featured in another shorter edit of the
commercial, two radio spots and some digital applications of the commercial.
Charlie is working with a mess of different producers and has been getting press on a lot of
blogs. He will release his new EP “Fortune Favors The Bold,” early 2010 and his face will be all
over your TV this January.
