About Me
The Rudies are group of local Lexington, KY musicians with a collective of over 50 years of musical experience. From their first practice in 2004, they knew that they wanted to create a positive message through original music. Their messages of racial diversity and self awareness ring as an anthem for all. The band’s music is a mash up of reggae and ska with some punk and rock overtones. They have opened for such acts as Fishbone, The Wailers, and English Beat.
