Les Six Years Du Institubes (2/2)
The temporary relocation of the Institubes headquarters to Miami Beach goes on with the US-only digital release of the super cleverly-titled “Les Six Years Du Institubes” (boom: just like the party! this is corporate synergy at its best!) compilation on iTunes.
This obscenely low priced 12-track collection gathers some of our favourite cuts from the last couple of years, with some rarities such as Rubato’s “Institubes Express 999” and Zeus’ “Zeus” (from the ZEUS single).
As a bonus, there’s a digital booklet with the exhaustive illustrated Institubes checklist (including every release since 2003), a foreword by label manager Jean-René Etienne, and even his signature in case you wanna forge a fake artist deal and sign yourself to Institubes.
Quite appropriately, the compilation ends with Curses!’s new single “The Deep End” (feat Maggie Horn), which we’ll be sharing with you tomorrow.
