PREMIERE: Arrington De Dionyso's Malaikat Dan Singa - Kerasukan
.jpg)
By nature a polarizing force separating open-minded listener and... everyone else, Arrington de Dionyso reentered the radar as only he could after 15 years with Old Time Relijun. Malaikat Dan Singa, recorded and with assistance by Karl Blau and Angelo Spencer respectively, is a trance-punk, skronk clarinet-filled, jazzy, trippy, joyous freak fest of an act, and "Kerasukan" its pièce de résistance. A taste of the liberal translations of William Blake into Indonesian throatsinging that fill Suara Naga (out on K), it is surely a recording brought to life live, which Brooklynites will be lucky enough to catch tonight at Issue Project Room or May 25 at Cake Shop.

PREMIERE: Pin Me Down - Curious (Co-Pilots Remix)
.jpg)
It's a wonder Russell Lissack and Milena Mepris are letting you and I hear this track with our own ears and see their faces with our own eyes, given that Pin Me Down seem intent on turning themselves into the most autocratic band of all time. "Curious" is taken from the duo's eponymous debut album, which came out through their own Animalized label in April. Here, it's remixed by Co-Pilots - whose members include Jamie Ellis and, er, Russell Lissack. That curious split down the centre of their photo leads me to think they even took those shots themselves - thankfully the track here (out October 11) is far more sociable, its synths sure to trigger mass, Pavlovian euphoria, Mepris' vocal yearning for company.

PREMIERE: Tiësto - I Will Be Here (feat. Sneaky Sound System) (Wolfgang Gartner Remix)
.jpg)
Love him or hate him, Tiësto was already enormous when his Kaleidoscope album came out last year—that collab-heavy blowout just reasserted his status as the most bankable dance music artist in the world. Naturally, an adjoining set of remixes has been procured, including this perfectly sleek, totally cheeseless take of "I Will Be Here" from Wolfgang Gartner, who's rubbed those ray-of-light trance synths into a more subdued, if no less effectively blood warming state. Kaleidoscope Remixed is out now through Ultra.

EXCLUSIVE STREAM: Felix Da Housecat - Miss Kittin + Arveene & Misk Remixes
.jpg)
When warm months reigned, Felix Da Housecat’s glammy, anthemic ode to Prince was kind of our jam, so today we’re stoked to leak two reprises of the electro ballad, plus a bonus flip. First up, Miss Kittin (sans Hacker) keeps it silky by stacking two trancey, princess confections of “We All Wanna Be Prince.” Then, rising duo Arveene & Misk get a little Irish grime on the already-nasty “KickDrum.” All are available digitally tomorrow, and He Was King is out on Nettwerk now.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Doves - Jetstream (Sasha's Subsubdubdub)
.jpg)
Last we heard from British trio Doves, they were releasing their first album in four years, Kingdom Of Rust, and pushing a remix from Norweigan nu-disco champ Prins Thomas. Yesterday, the group put out a new single, "Winter Hill", and today we're thrilled to premier trance legend Sasha's eleven-minute version of KOR's "Jetstream," which, to be fair, is more tastefully trance-y than we expected. Basically a 128bpm house track caught amidst an intergalactic war zone, this "subsubdubdub" is the least gaudy arena dance anthem we've heard in a minute, so respect to the man for that. FEATURED: MOTOR Remixes Kanye West

Our friends at Dim Mak just signed NYC/France duo MOTOR, two guys who've been getting a heavy taste of the high life as openers on Depeche Mode's current European tour. Playing those big spaces, they've been using their recent refit of Kanye West's "Robocop," which is available for download exclusively at the Dim Mak blog. Barely any trace of the original left, just bits of effected vocal dropped into a relentless hard-house beatdown. Kanye (or his blog robots) liked it!
