Film: The art of the trailer. And Donkey Kong.

Today marks the release of "The King Of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters" on DVD. For those who missed it in its limited theatrical run, it's a documentary on the epic showdown between the world's greatest Donkey Kong player who refers to himself in the third person (his record stood for 20 years) squaring off against a hapless middle school teacher who desperately needs the win to get his life back together. If this all sounds a little melodramatic - that's because it is. And it's real. This was one of the best reviewed movies of last year and there will almost certainly be a wait on Netflix so get on that shit now. Here's the trailer (love the knock-off of The Who's "Baba O'Riley" by the way), if this doesn't get your blood flowing you should check your pulse.
