The first single to be released from Sydney 4 piece GHOSTWOOD’s self-titled EP RED VERSION bleeds with unresolved optimism. It’s beautifully sweeping simplicity carries you through an everlasting journey stimulating the deepest emotional beams of your heart. It’s a clear example of the what has left so many of their fans craving for more and more.
The band that has been blowing the ears off unsuspecting listeners with their age defying talent and blistering sonic’s has prodused a track that swerves from the blissfull melancholy to the vigorous brooding, reminiscent of bands like Ride, My Bloody Valentine and early U2.
Ghostwood (formerly known as Ghosts) are Gab Navidzadeh, Paddy Harrowsmith, James West and Tom Crandles – a discontented trip of a band set upon endless nights of timewarp jamming and lost forays into the world of the will. After playing shows with the likes of Klaxons, The Valentinos, Howling Bells, Van She, Mercy and Damn Arms, a 5 track self-titled EP has been created.
