EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Praveen & Benoit - Embers (David Last Remix) + To Scale (Landau Orchestra Version)
With how much new material Benoit Pioulard constantly churns out, it's hardly surprising some stuff gets lost in the shuffle. Unfortunately, Songs Spun Simla, his album in collaboration with Praveen, was among the buried. But the duo's experimental pop songs, like the slowly untangling "Embers" and digitally affected "To Scale," are too good to be missed. Hopefully two choice remixes from David Last and The Landau Orchestra, exclusive to RCRD LBL, will spur listeners to dig a bit deeper. Whereas Last jumps on the ethnic vibes in "Embers" and injects a near Reggaeton beat, Landau Orchestra knots funky breaks and jangling percussion into "To Scale." Don't sleep!
