PPO OR HMO???

So I am at  a new job and I gotta figure out what Medical partner to use....Maybe I should watch SICKO and then flee the US out of pure fright..... See, this is important because I gotta figure out a way to insure my wrist...We have so many shows this week and if that trend continues -which I hope it does - my wrist will totally go dead. Any drummers out there willing to give me some warm up tips????

For those of you in LA, we have 6 shows within the next week and a half, starting tomorrow in LONG BEACH with our buddies, WET CASSETTE - who happen to be 3/4 of ROLLING BLACKOUTS(www.myspace.com/rollingblackouts)- then it all ends September 13 @ The Knitting Factory in Hollywood....Ewwww, Hollywood. In between though, there are plenty of excellent shows to come to. Check the page for details. For those not in Los Angeles.....Sorry..

Jonathan and I hope you enjoyed the two tunes that we've posted for you. Within the next week or two we will be posting another tune for you RCRDLBL peeps. So, stay tuned.

I guess that's it for now....Drummers...I'm serious....Help me?

Love,

Sean Voyeur

Band Of The Day #9 - SLEEPING STATES "September, Maybe"

Sleeping States are one of those much-discussed, but rarely discovered gems found shimmering at the bottom of the well. One of those wonderfully 'found' artists who demand the listener to proceed and tell the world of Markland Starkie's (for he is said act) languorously beautiful songs as if it were their sole mission in life, and one which should be approached with the appropriate level of zeal.

'September, Maybe'
is taken from the second Sleeping States album (after his first, self-released CDR long-player), and sounds like the music of a man waiting for the rest of the world to catch up and find him. A piece of effervescent, folkish nearly-pop, it encapsulates the sparse beauty that Markland Starkie produces with seemingly little effort.

Sleeping States will be touring early in 2008, but expect the London-based fellow to crop up here and there in the coming months.
