Bromance, what does it really mean? According to the eponymous series (started by Brodinski and Gesaffelstein), it means dance collabs with a philosophical bent ‘emphasizing how musical and cultural variety between two entities’ actually proves human interconnectivity. Whatever dudes, we know it’s just an excuse to party with yr boys. On to Bromance #2, featuring G. Vump and West Coast club kids Pipes, the latter of whom we’ve got today. It’s a revamp of “Sleeping” by Ryan Hemsworth that’s ill, fuzzy, discordant R&B as strange as the story behind the band. Apparently, Pipes was spawned from a lovin' LA polysexual dance community that throws ultra-legendary parties. Bromance, indeed.

The Internet is now two things: that information/porn superhighway invented by Al Gore and a silky silky hip-hop-cum-R&B faction composed of Odd Future masterminds Syd The Kyd and Matt Martians. Little Dragon is also now two things: the name of my stuffed animal growing up, and this year’s hottest Swede-electro duo. Together on this refit of “Cocaine” – they become one thing: trippy, twinkly, trip-hop-leaning, slippery, creepy pop gods. A nice tease for The Internet's debut, dropping at the end of this month.

Inside of Odd Future’s ski-maskin’, gnome-lovin’, zombie-reactivatin’ hip-hop collective, there is an R&B assassin named Frank Ocean, who has an ultra-slick and introspective track called “Swim Good,” that you may be currently grinding to, depending on how well your day is going. Here, RCRD LBL regular Moe Green jumps in with a hard-with-heart take, renamed “Swim Great.” We like it. So, we thought you might, too. Enjoy, as you await Moe’s Lion Heart EP release...any day now.

Outer space, underground, robots, and the funk ghosts of playas past all surface on “Hypnotize U,”—the breakout single from supergroup collaborators Daft Punk and N.E.R.D. But it’s UK dubsteppers Nero who propel the jam into truly mind-melting stratospheres. In their re-touch, studio drum beats and zonked-out synths help jettison Pharrell’s formally soporific vocals into dreamy R&B phosphorescence. In any iteration, this one’s got legs for days.
