Paper Bag Records, yes that's me speaking/writing in the third person, proudly announces that Woodhands and their debut album Heart Attack will see it's US release later this summer.
The band just recently toured Canada and touched down in a few US cities impressing folks all around with their sexy dance assault on audiences unaware of their prowess.
When Exclaim magazine calls them the "two-headed indie Timberlake" and that Dan Werb, keytar playing frontman, "plays it like the Orgasmatron at their gigs" you damn well know you're in for sweaty hot times. Grab your girl or grab a girl at the show and dance cos he says so.
Stay tuned for more info on Woodhands...till then enjoy the download.

Hello again friends and music fiends,
some cool news for you regarding two of our bands Woodhands and You Say Party! We Say Die! Which is they're both going to China! On a diplomatic mission of sorts to spread good times and hipster fashions, we'll be welcome in Beijing at the end of May. Both acts will be performing at The Star Live on May 28th and May 29th.
So we're packing our passports and are ready to go to the Forbidden City.
To celebrate here is a remix of You Say Party! done by the RAC...also known for rad remixes done for Tokyo Police Club, Bloc Party and a few other bands you may have heard of.
While this will be Woodhands' first time in China, You Say Party! will be making their sophomore appearance. The wonderful pic is from a great blogger called www.quirkybeijing.com...she has tabs on all the great things to do and see in Beijing.

Hey music fans, today’s post is all about our newest signing Slim Twig. He’s from Toronto and sometime words are hard to find that best describe an artists’ vision. So we felt it best to use Slim’s own words so you know from his own heart what he’s trying to do.
A Note From Slim Twig on Derelict Dialect:
Over the last couple years, I've written songs using a technique I like to call songsculpting. I've been trying to sculpt pop songs using different textures of sound, with an emphasis on abstract images sometimes inspired by film. My first experiments with these ideas culminated in a distinctly art-pop sound, which I've collected in my soon-to-be released Derelict Dialect EP. After the DD sessions, I started experimenting with a grittier sound that ended up becoming the Whiite Fantaseee EP. I'm releasing Derelict Dialect now to give a new perspective on the music I've made since and plan to release soon!
