FEATURED: Taking a Walk on the Wild Side: Lou Reed & N.E.R.D. at Fader Fort Austin
Thursday at the Fader Fort was hallmark. As the Austin dusk set, My Morning Jacket, Thurston Moore (of Sonic Youth), Joseph Arthur, and Dr. Dog gave tribute to Lou Reed. The lights shone golden on Lou himself gave a wicked live show with Moby- as the crowd all sang along to "Walk On A Wild Side."
N.E.R.D concluded the night (after making the crowd wait for a diva-like amount of time) with Pharrell doing a ska-esque dance-off onstage and inviting two chicks on-stage to grind. They also debuted some new songs but if we told you what they were we'd have to kill you.
