JOB: Associate Editor/A&R At RCRD LBL

The RCRD LBL edit staff are looking for a new Associate Editor. If you're an enthusiastic, savvy, and in-the-mix writer who would be psyched to expose our readers to new artists and music, this could be the gig for you.

In short, we're looking for a hungry, knowledgeable applicant, preferably New York-based, who can work in both editorial and A&R capacities.  Responsibilities will mostly include bringing good music to the site and covering that music with poise and flavor. You'll be working very closely with the rest of the edit and production staff, so responsibility and reliability are a must.

The position is paid and requires 15-20 hours a week.

If you are interested, please email aandr@rcrdlbl.com with the subject "EDIT POSITION," include some links to your work and a graph or two on why you'd kill it. Resumes are not necessary, but a bit of moxy always helps!

We're looking for an excellent content management intern here at RCRD LBL.

Requirements include: fluency in photoshop/design, content management systems and of course, blogging. We need someone who we can count on to make things happen and won't have to micromanage. Enthusiasm for online media and interest in the sort of music we release/blog about are both big pluses.

Applicants must be hyper organized, able to work 15-20 hours/week and based in NYC area.

You will be working direct with our roster of artists, partner labels and editors, as well as our current production team, so being on point is a must.

If you're interested, hit up info at rcrdlbl.com with "Internship" in the subject line. No need for a resume, just send us a few paragraphs about yourself and why you'd kill it.

Thanks,

RCRD LBL

We are looking for a top notch new Associate Editor slash A&R here at RCRD LBL. If you are interested in exposing our readers and the world at large to REAL MUSIC and REAL ARTISTS (no matter how famous or obscure) you love and can do it with authority, poise and wit, this could be the gig for you.

In addition to regular daily postings about the artists we sign and labels we work with, you will have total creative control in covering the artists/tracks you bring to the site, as well as input into our A and R processes. In short, we want you to be you and let your tastes and voice show through.

Applicants must be available/online 10AM to 2PM Monday through Friday (working from home is totally fine) and have strong relationships with labels/artists.

If you are interested, please email aandr AT RCRD LBL dot com with some links to your work, as well as a graph or two on why you'd kill it. Resumes are not necessary, but a bit of moxy might help.

Cheers,

Elliot/RCRD LBL
