DOWNLOAD: Tyler, The Creator - Yonkers (Lil Silva Remix)

Feels a little bit odd chasing after Tyler, The Creator and his gang along with everyone else who owns a brain, a computer and a pair of ears, but chase we shall continue to do, speared on by this "unofficial" Lil Silva remix. The London funky house producer/DJ aptly ties the Odd Future leader's lopsided gabbling down with dancing-in-formation snares and breathy back-up vocals, seeking out the energy at the heart of "Yonkers"' dark matters lament. Lil Silva's new release, The Patience EP, arrives May 2 through Good Years.

PREMIERE: Magnetic Man - Getting Nowhere (feat. John Legend) (Yoruba Soul Remix)
.jpg)
Magnetic Man's debut album may have brought Benga, Skream and Artwork—and, by proxy, dubstep—chart success and more attention, but it also gave them the opportunity to experiment and play around with the dubstep blueprint they've spent the last decade helping to develop. The original cut of "Getting Nowhere" (out as a single February 21) was a tense, troubled track that closed that debut album, but here Yoruba Soul keeps that spirit of experimentation alive by giving it a alluringly frilly, funky house refix.

DOWNLOAD: Crazy Cousinz - Inflation

If you're in London this evening, you're gonna struggle to find anything better to do than what's on offer at new central venue P3. The three-storey concrete bunker below the University of Westminster will play host to The Big Pink, Joker and Crazy Cousinz, among others, and we've a track from the latter for you now: the incessantly percussive "Inflation" quickly turning itself into something you can point to and say "this - this is what funky house sounds like". The London collective have a fair few funky anthems, to be fair - have you checked "Do You Mind", featuring the lovely Kyla? Or "Bongo Jam"? All great, hypnotic, danced. Get yourself down to P3 tonight and have at it, fam.
