There be gold ‘round these parts. And in the interest of giving you something to bank on (oh, the puns!) we threw together this playlist of all the exclusive tracks Fool's Gold has been dropping. How convenient!? Put this on blast and reminisce of the week gone by, because boy was it a good one.

All this week we’ve been releasing exclusive goodness from our partners at Fool's Gold, who have a bevy of hot records coming out soon. Today's the last day of the series, so if you like what you've heard, make sure to go cop some records and threads over at their store. And to the guys at Fool's Gold, thanks for the jams!
On their Acid Bagg EP (out later this month), Ottawa production/DJ duo Jokers Of The Scene take a huge creative leap forward from the cheeky remixes they built their name on, offering two ambitious, original dancefloor killers to the world at large. First up is "Baggy Bottom Boys," a multi-part rave epic that DJs like Diplo and Erol Alkan are already playing out through every single peak and piano breakdown. On the flip is "Acidrod," a refined (though no less ravey) take on the signature JOTS collage approach, meshing crowd-pleasing breakbeats with subtle tech house glitches and hypnotic synthesizers. Both are previewed on this exclusive EP megamix, along with remixes of "Acidrod" by Brodinski and Destroy Disco, as well as a "ravestep" version of "Baggy Bottom Boys" from rising Ottawa dub scientist DZ.

Later this month the Fool's Gold Remixed compilation drops via Scion, packing eight brand-new, wildly diverse remixes of FG artists by some of dance music's brightest lights, from DJ Spinna to Jori Hulkkonen. As a teaser, we're proud to share Surkin's remix of Nacho Lovers' "Acid Life" with you first! The Institubes young turk sprinkles all sorts of chopped up, distorted big beat goodness atop the original, and it's a match made in RCRD LBL heaven. Go grab the whole disc when the remix tour hits a town near you.
Sounds like: Surkin, M.S.K., Curses!

On "Shake It Down," A-Trak proves he can jam Ibiza with the best of them, slapping together a bodyrocking combo of nut-rattling bass, neverending snare buildups, and infectious vocal snippets. His partner in crime on this club detonator is none other than Laidback Luke, universally regarded as the "connoisseurs choice" when it comes to big-room house. Trizzy and the rest of the Fool's Gold crew have been dropping Luke's originals and remixes in their sets for months - including his takes on Treasure Fingers and Chromeo hits - so it's only natural that the wonder twins would unite for a proper collaboration (in fact, they whipped this one up in a single afternoon!) Stay tuned for the official "Shake It Down" 12" dropping soon on Fool's Gold.

Rising Brooklyn remixer and party maestro Sammy Bananas lives up to his name by crafting ecstatic tunes that shy from trendy production tricks in favor of pure pop satisfaction. Having already remixed the likes of Chromeo and 45 King, his latest Fool's Gold EP, Braids & Fades, is a tribute to the biker-shorted divas of the nineties, chopping up their R&B hits into uptempo club slams. The approach has already made fans out of influential BBC DJ Annie Mac and platinum producer will.i.am, who ran up to the DJ booth at Sammy's last LA show to shout "YOU made this?!?" Today Fool's Gold has hooked you up with "Ladies", a particularly vogue-y highlight from Braids & Fades.
There are more SB tunes on the way, including a remix of Trackademicks' forthcoming Fool's Gold single "Enjoy What You Do." You can cop Braids & Fades (as well as last year's High Top Fades) digitally and on wax at Turntable Lab. This week and next you can also check out Sammy on his European tour, which kicks off Thursday in Oslo. He's made a nice little minimix to promote it; you can download that here alongside all his tour stops.

DJs/producers Andrew Ross and Scott Seewhale linked up bonding over early Chicago and Detroit classics, but don’t get it twisted—Nacho Lovers is not a tribute act. The duo have torn down the walls of the Warehouse and the Music Box only to rebuild them brick by brick inside a cramped Toronto apartment with way too many records. Over the past year they’ve been cooking up original tracks that the meld vintage acid synths of their heroes with the forward-thinking thump of modern techno and house, all brought to life with an untamed, underage house party energy. And while these whiz kids know their history, Nacho Lovers is the sound of underground dance music right now. "Acid Life / Go On" is their Fool's Gold debut, a double A-side single that's had the internet salivating for months in advance of its release. This exclusive RCRD LBL megamix features all the tracks from the single, including great remixes from Eli Escobar and FG labelmates Jokers Of The Scene. Check for the full package later this month, just in time for Nacho Lovers' US tour dates on the Fool's Gold Remixed trek.
