FEATURED: Santogold, Gnarls Barkley, And The Gossip Rock Out At Montreux Jazz Festival
On edge of the lapping blue waters of Lake Geneva, primly propped between white-tipped mountains and lush well-trimmed vineyards, Montreux Jazz Festival is one of the most majestic music festivals in the world. After relishing a cold beer and improv jazz in the outdoor soundstage, guests can hop to watch classic blues legends like Buddy Guy, follow Beth Gibbons of The Gossip into a raging, stripping dance riot, or witness Prince embark at 3 am on a three hour acoustic set in the basement (as he did infamously last year at Montreux).
This year, we're bringing you some snaps of the festival, including Santogold showering the audience with her zealous dance-rap and Gnarls Barkley all in immaculate suits bringing a bit of pizzazz to the main musical hall. In grand RCRD LBL style, we've also incorporated some tracks from our artists (see below). Check it out below and be sure pencil "aller a Montreux" or "Gone Music-ing" in your calendar for next year.
