PREMIERE: Mustard Pimp - Rock (feat. Hot Pink Delorean) (Hot Pink Delorean Remix)

If we had another photo of Mustard Pimp, we wouldn't use it, because this one is a perfect visual representation of their music, i.e. pixelated, kick-you-upside-the-face-house. With their new Rock Paper Scissors EP looming over its release date on Tuesday, Dim Mak is letting go of this remix from and featuring Boston's Hot Pink Delorean. 'Cause we couldn't send you into the weekend without something to get shameless to.

RCRD OF THE DAY: Two Door Cinema Club - Something Good Can Work (Crookers Dirrrrrty Mix)

Crookers' electro-house havoc continues here with a rewiring of hotly-tipped indie-poppers Two Door Cinema Club. The track is a highlight of the Northern Ireland trio's debut album Tourist History, and the original version of "Something Good Can Work" emerges as a single next week via Kitsune.

After a flood of Internet bootlegs and one original EP, rock-loving NYC remix mavens Streetlab finally enter the album realm with Auto Spkr, their debut, fourteen-track long-player that arrived just last week. First single "Rat Racer" is more of the swaggering, Need For Speed-y electro-house they've lit up our pages (and Entourage!) with in the past, but with a subtly snarky, unsubtly diva-ish vocal from the singularly named Noelle to ease the impact.

When DJ AM passed away suddenly last August, an outpouring of tribute performances, DJ mixes, and testimonials quickly followed, all of them eulogizing the accomplished turntablist as a generous, enthusiastic music obsessive. Dan Sena, a friend of both AM's (who would often email him production pointers) and our partners at Dim Mak, made "Ayemgee" is his memory–download it below and, if you feel inclined, make a donation to the DJ AM Memorial Fund, which aids addiction recovery programs, through his website.

RCRD OF THE DAY: Steve Aoki - I'm In The House (feat. [[[zuper blahq]]]) (Grandtheft Remix)

Party mantras abound in “I’m In The House,” the new electro-gone-meta club vehicle of L.A. DJ hero Steve Aoki and masked rapper [[[zuper blahq]]]. Here, in the hands of Canadian club veteran Grandtheft, it’s fastened with further bludgeoning powers—wavy synths and truncheon-like hi-hats; basically enough artillery to balance out the braggadocio.

"I'm In The House" is out now via Dim Mak / Thrive Records / IDJ.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Shy Child - Disconnected (Ocelot Remix)

While Shy Child wait out the lead time for their new LP, Liquid Love, transatlantic beat partnership Ocelot affix their gaze on its new single, "Disconnected," tastefully swapping crystallized chords for rolling, wormy arpeggios and a thicker, more mechanical backbone. Astrally-minded selectors, take heed. Liquid Love lands in the UK on March 15.

DOWNLOAD: Hockey - Song Away (Jack Beats' Anger Management Remix)

London heavy bass kings Jack Beats aren't newbies to the game; the duo's Plus One and Beni G have been straddling turntables in The Scratch Perverts and Mixologists, respectively, for a minute. But now that their clubbier side project has caught some ears–intially off a flip of Boy 8-Bit's "Fog Bank"–they're giving things a solid go. Expect an oncoming of major label remixes, including this version of Hockey's "Song Away", all elephantine bass rattle and squeegee bottle square waves.

DOWNLOAD: Tiga - Shoes

Like a proper aughties floor filler, Tiga has his paws spread over many endeavors, bouncing from prolific remixing gigs to running his label (our partners at Turbo) and collaborating on music with friends, like he does with Zombie Nation as ZZT. Busy dude! Lately, though, he's focused on completing Ciao!, his new LP for Last Gang and follow-up to his Juno-winning 2007 debut, Sexor. If Wikipedia is to be believed (it's not, but this is some intriguing intel) Ciao! is one collabo-heavy record, with Soulwax, James Murphy, Jake Shears, and Gonzales, among others, popping in for guest appearances or co-production slots. "Shoes" is the first single, a posturing call-and-response cut with the slipperiest tentacle of a bassline we've heard in ages. It also features Tiga singing the line "I'd love to do those nails," which is not something you hear every day. We are feeling it for all its dancefloor gluttony, so go and take it home with you at the link below. Ciao! hits on April 27th.

Sounds like: Soulwax, LCD Soundsystem, Alex Gopher
