DOWNLOAD: Hockey - Song Away (Jack Beats' Anger Management Remix)

London heavy bass kings Jack Beats aren't newbies to the game; the duo's Plus One and Beni G have been straddling turntables in The Scratch Perverts and Mixologists, respectively, for a minute. But now that their clubbier side project has caught some ears–intially off a flip of Boy 8-Bit's "Fog Bank"–they're giving things a solid go. Expect an oncoming of major label remixes, including this version of Hockey's "Song Away", all elephantine bass rattle and squeegee bottle square waves.

DOWNLOAD: Tiga - Shoes

Like a proper aughties floor filler, Tiga has his paws spread over many endeavors, bouncing from prolific remixing gigs to running his label (our partners at Turbo) and collaborating on music with friends, like he does with Zombie Nation as ZZT. Busy dude! Lately, though, he's focused on completing Ciao!, his new LP for Last Gang and follow-up to his Juno-winning 2007 debut, Sexor. If Wikipedia is to be believed (it's not, but this is some intriguing intel) Ciao! is one collabo-heavy record, with Soulwax, James Murphy, Jake Shears, and Gonzales, among others, popping in for guest appearances or co-production slots. "Shoes" is the first single, a posturing call-and-response cut with the slipperiest tentacle of a bassline we've heard in ages. It also features Tiga singing the line "I'd love to do those nails," which is not something you hear every day. We are feeling it for all its dancefloor gluttony, so go and take it home with you at the link below. Ciao! hits on April 27th.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Rex The Dog - Bubblicious (Zoo Brazil Remix)

Around 1994, UK resident Jake Williams started putting out really divaish big room house records under the alias JX, and after a name-change a decade later to Rex The Dog, hasn't broken stride. Last year saw the release of The Rex The Dog Show, a well-received electro-house full length that did well on the strength of a gushing single called "Bubblicious". Being a popular dance record from a well-known veteran, "Bubblicious" got some remix work from heavy hitters like Felix Da Housecat, Congorock, and like-minded Swedes Zoo Brazil, whose version is below. Pretty awesome big room sounds here, all parties involved are working for maximum dancefloor potency.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: The Ting Tings - That's Not My My Name (LA Riots Remix)

True; the Ting Tings' drummer Jules De Martino and singer Katie White resemble 'rocker' Ken and Barbie and carve infectious beats to which even a blind-folded-beerponger-10-beers-in can't resist head-beating. It’s little surprise these hotshots are winning Billboard’s popularity contest.
But leave it to slick DJs LA Riots to inject a bit of danceable darkness to the track “That’s Not My Name.” They've overlaid classic electro-house beats and twisted in a trusty techno stutter so Katie sounds like she’s got dance-induced Tourette's Syndrome…This shit is fierce; it'll have you disco-balling till dawn.
