PREMIERE: Joe And Will Ask? - Man The Cannons
.jpg)
It'd be easy to be fairly envious of Joe And Will Ask?, with their fashion labels and swimming pool sun glasses and party boy electro house. They appear to be having wild amounts of fun, but inferred somewhere in the sweep of "Man The Cannons" is a cumulative call to arms urging you to pick up the tail of their beautiful people conga line and head back to theirs for dawn revelry. Find this on the B-side of their new single "Rainbow Trout", out August 16th through Deadly.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Felix Cartal - Skeleton Remixes

Dim Mak's Canadian grind-house wonderboy Felix Cartal put out "Skeleton" last May, after it frequented the quivers of DJs like Felix Da Housecat and MSTRKRFT. That seems like forever ago, but these new versions, all by heretofore unknown producers (BOTNEK, Indo Silver Club, Clockwork, and Pance Party), should give it something of a second life. Plus, they're free. The original EP is purchasable via iTunes right here.

EXCLUSIVE NEW DOWNLOAD: Boys Noize - Starter

Sometimes listening to Boys Noize songs feels like a test in withstanding how far synth tweaking can go before we lose our minds. And sometimes, usually in a club, it feels perfectly cathartic. 'Suppose it's all about context. Despite working recently with Erol Alkan, the Black Eyed Peas, and Gonzales, Alex Ridha's battery acid-scorched thumb hasn't dulled a whim–he's still perfectly capable and happy cranking out terroristic rave tunes that sound like they were made with possessed power tools. MPfree's below, catch Boys Noize all over the world until 2010, dates up pon di MySpace.

Back in November, we introduced you to the glitchy, manic world of Kid606, the Venezuelan-born, California-reared producer and boss of the IDM-centric Tigerbeat6 label. On April 28th, he'll release a new album called Shout At The Doner, nominee for album title of the year and his first record since a move to Berlin from San Francisco. Preceding the release is the basslineish single "Mr. Wobble's Nightmare," which got the remix treatment from a bunch of up-and-comers for an EP last month, among them Australian "idiot house" duo Acid Jacks. Below you'll find their all-the-more-ravey version alongside the original, and if you want to get in on the action yourself the label is hosting a remix contest for the track right here.
Sounds like: Drop The Lime, Math Head, Boys Noize
