When news first emerged of this collaboration between Swervedriver chieftain Adam Franklin and Interpol drummer Sam Fogarino, there can't have been many minds imagining what would result, Magnetic Morning's sleepy, summery drone-pop seemingly anathema to the resolute drive of Fogarino's primary concern. Still, it must be nice for Interpol fans to be greeted with some warmth every once in a while; black hearts thawed by Magnetic Morning's warm confusion of guitars and addled dumb drums.
