The Crookers remix of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” won Best Indie Dance/Nu Disco Track and A-Trak’s remix of Boys Noize’s “Oh” won Best Electro House Track in the 2009 Beatport Music Awards. Next year we’re gunnin for that Best Psy Trance!

New Crookers Mix + FG Single Info
The latest edition of the We Make It Good mix series (what up Pretty Titty!) comes courtesy of none other than Crookers, who turn in a blend of Italian jams both old (vintage 45s and tambourine tracks) and new (their own shit) along with bangers from the usual suspects (Rusko, Mujava, Oizo) so basically what we’re saying is you should go check it out here.
There’s a ton of big things coming up this year for the duo, including remixes for megapopstars, sure-to-be-triumphant Coachella and Sonar gigs, and…A FOOL’S GOLD SINGLE! The forthcoming Crooks release will feature a finished version of new track “What Up Y’all” (the leaked demo is already a hit, word to Hype Machine) as well as exclusive remixes of their fan favorites “Knobbers” and “Embrace The Martian” by DJ Gant-Man and Seiji of Bugz In The Attic fame. It’s sounding great so far, and we’re excited to drop it on you fine people next month. Stay tuned!

The European reissue of Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite” (featuring the massive Crookers version, along with additional new mixes commissioned by Data/Ministry Of Sound) gets its official release today, after 1,000,000+ YouTube views, heaps of pre-release press, and, y’know, being one good-ass universal tune. Pick it up digitally or on vinyl or CD single (both pictured) in your favorite shop, international friends!
Meanwhile in the US of A, the latest rapper to join Pitbull, Jim Jones, Collie Buddz and Joell Ortiz in posting up homemade versions of the original “Day ‘N’ Nite” is none other than Jermaine Dupri. Check JDs “So So Def Remix” right here:
