Jessica Delfino is famous. One million views on YouTube, numerous television writing gigs, and world touring as a charming, satirical, holy-shit-she-also-has-a-flying-V-ukulele singer/songwriter is famous. At least, the kind of deserved cult fame you can't be mad at. As for "I Wanna Be Famous", it's an ode to the innumerable crazed, deluded, vapid, desperate, idealistically ambitious people you meet every day in New York and L.A. (and, presumably, everywhere else before they move to those places). (Also, MTV reality shows.) And you know what? They can probably laugh along with it, too. Hooray for lightheartedness.

VIDEO: Superdeluxe spoofs Akon and T-Pain

So, ready to see the most amazing thing ever? If you've been paying attention to mainstream hip hop and R&B lately, you'll have noticed that one long-forgotten (as long as you're not Daft Punk) '80s instrument is making a comeback: the vocoder. Dudes like Akon have been known to bust it out every now and then, and T-Pain uses it almost exclusively, not to mention Snoop Dogg using it in his best single in a really long time (that would be "Sexual Eruption", obviously). The guys at sketch comedy web site Superdeluxe just aired this animation by a comedy collective called Olde English imagining what would happen if Akon and T-Pain made a date to hang at the mall, which in all honestly has probably happened before. It's amazing.

BONUS! Learn how to "sing" like T-Pain, with this quick 'n' easy YouTube tutorial. One word: Seriously?
