Earlier this week, we tempted your fantasies with Antony & The Johnson's ethereal waltz, Epilepsy Is Dancing and the butterfly-filled dream world of the Epilepsy video, directed by the Wachowski Brothers (of the Matrix Trilogy and V For Vendetta fame). Gorgeous, complex creative endeavors, the song and video spawned a spiraling staircase of questions for us. Luckily, RCRD LBL snagged an interview with musical ingénue Antony Hegarty, the creative genius behind Antony & The Johnsons about what "Epilepsy Is Dancing" and the Midsummer Night's Dream-esque dance video is all about, and themes of his new album, The Crying Light. It's kinda like those mindbender visual illusion posters: listen to the track, read the interview, watch the video, and suddenly it all starts to become more clear.
