VEVO: Grimes - Oblivion
The growth of Grimes' utterly wigged-out pop has been one of our favorite developments over the past six months. "Oblivion," which we once called 'Halloween Pop,' is the focus in our weekly collaboration with VEVO. Why, exactly? Well, it's all over the place and super fun with mosh pits, lots of sweating, motocross, men without shirts and all sorts of other wild business – basically, what a music video should be!
VEVO Playlist: Wavves
Why Wavves? Why now? It's pretty simple. We crave warmth, beach days, guitar crunch and aimless smoky antics. Nathan Williams has all these things down to such an extent that his music, whether in its grimy lo-fi guise or more pop-punk mainstream newer material, immediately transports us to a reckless L.A. afternoon. Go fantasize with us.

VEVO PLAYLIST: Flip On The Blues (feat. Jack White)
If Valentine's Day is for chocolates and teddy bears, then post-Valentine's Day is all about the love blues, and no contemporary artist does the blues better than Jack White. Featuring the recently-premiered clip for his first solo single "Love Interruption," this week's VEVO playlist is inspired by the blues of Mr. White and artists he's worked with in the past including Danger Mouse & Daniele Luppi, Norah Jones and ex-wife Karen Elson. Between smokey vocals and black and white footage, who knew heartache could look and sound so good?

VEVO + RCRD LBL PLAYLIST: Miike Snow
You love Miike Snow. We love Miike Snow. Everybody loves Miike Snow. The group is not only mysterious, with its fluid view of genre and cinematic soundscapes, but it really gets that a great visual goes a long way. For this week's VEVO collaboration, we put together a playlist of our favorite Miike Snow clips, including the film accompaniment to recent track "Devil's Work."
