CHECK IT: The Lovely Feathers
We used to love the Lovely Feathers, a quintet of guys from Montreal who made one of the best indie-pop records of last year, Hind Hind Legs. The record, produced by Metric's James Shaw, was referentially spastic, recalling everything from Television Personalities to (semi-obscure band reference alert!) The Sea Urchins to the Arcade Fire. Then they kind of dropped of the radar for a bit .
Well, as You Ain't No Picasso reports, they are back with a new demo and a release date for a new record. We for one are very happy about this.
