FEATURED: White Denim on WNYC today
Still totally into White Denim, the band of Austin indie punks who we’ve now seen enough times to declare awesome live (even when they literally played a 5-minute long set at this year’s Plug Awards). If you’ve never experienced White Denim live (think the Minutemen meets Les Savy Fav), you have two options as of today: if you live in New York, you can run and see them open for Tapes ‘n’ Tapes tonight at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza (set time: 8:30PM) and/or you can tune in to WNYC’s Soundcheck show at 2PM and hear a live in-studio performance.
