We are Standard they began as a whirlwind with a demo recorded at the end of 2004, which earned the Project Demo of the FIB and called the attention in Spain, and of there to a heap of concerts for other countries: France, Holland or Belgium between others.

Their first disc, 3.000V-40.000W, is edited by Mushroom Pillow in 2006, and obtains a great recognition across their movement to the scenes, place in which the group stands out over any national name and which they turn into guarantee of party and dance.

Also it they obtain the appreciation of the critique, earning the prize of National Radio Spain of OJO CRITICO. The single On the Floor is included in the advertisement of tv of Benicássim's Festival in Uk and France and 3 video paper clips are recorded for his(her,your) promotion. The disc is published in France and in July, 2007 in The United States for the stamp Minty Fresh, under the name We Are Standard with emphasized in Blender or Spin magazine between others.
In 2007 there appears in single The Mpossible Mixes, where Lou Reed Waiting for my man's version stands out, a dancer appellant in their direct.
Their following album is published in November, 2008. A disc with an artistic major ambition produced by Andy Gill (Gang of Four) and that includes a remixing of their single The last steals for Arthur Baker (person in charge for the sound of the first New Order). For then they occupy the front page of the magazine Mondosonoro and burn the forums of opinion with the pop video of their first single, edited in vinyl and with another remixing of the group Cazals.

And they will return to the American country in 2009 to take part in the South By Southwest and in the Canadian Music Week of Toronto. They are finalists of the Prizes of the Music to the best group of Alternative Rock. (less)
