  • Bio: The Facts:
    • Warrior One are two people. Carl Faure and Eoin Bradshaw.
    • Both are 29 years of age.
    • One lives in East London, one lives West.
    • One’s from Dublin, one of them isn’t.
    • Carl spent the majority of his twenties in Brighton producing music as one half of Black Grass on Catskills Records. He also recorded with deep minimal wunderkid Shenoda, as, er, Shenoda and Faure.
    • Eoin cut his DJ teeth in every decent Dublin nightspot and fast became the number one resident DJ in the city.
    • The pair have previously produced music together as Big Time Playaz with ‘Solid Gold’ Steve Sumo.
Across this, their debut EP, Warrior One give you 4-tracks of the highest order, all with their own stance but tied together with the same attitude. Ranging from the incredibly infectious ‘King Riddim’ that takes UK funky to the carnival with Lady Chann destroying the mic – a big tip for in 2010! Next up is ‘Bad Like Jimmy Cliff’, which shows off the duo’s love of sampling and sub-bass, in turn creating one of the biggest records we’ve heard for a long while, it’s rolling. Showing they can rave hard too, the guys also serve up ‘The Machine’ and ‘Turn The Music Up’, definitely more for the late night heads, it’s all about the riddims with the latter already a big favourite for the likes of Annie Mac, etc. This is rave for a new generation, packed with nostalgia but with more than enough modern twists to keep it fresh.
