Bio: VILLAINS SET TO RELEASE "VICTIMS" ON DIM MAK RECORDS!
VILLAINS are a Los Angeles-based electronic production/DJ duo consisting of Mad V and Koncept. The two met back in 2002 while studying at The Musicians' Institute in Hollywood. They finally began working on music together in 2007. They churned out a couple bootleg remixes and some a couple original tracks. Soon after, they set up a MySpace and started sending their tracks out to blogs to get some attention. After getting positive press on popular blogs such as Vice and Missingtoof, they decided to commit to pushing Villains hard. A few months later, there was demand from clubs all over the country for them to come out and perform. And now, within just two years, they are touring all over the globe and producing original music as well as remixes for a wide variety of artists. Some of their most recent remix work includes The Bravery, Shakira, Britney Spears, and Bloc Party.
April 13th, 2010 marks the release of their Dim Mak Records release, "VICTIMS" featuring vocals by WHISKEY PETE. The single includes remixes by 12TH PLANET & FLINCH, DESIGNER DRUGS, and TRUE PSUEDO! (less)
