- Bio: Yet again ripping up the rule book and taking the underground dance world by storm with his pulsating debut “Dream Catcher” on Data, UNICORN KID aka 18 year old Scot Oliver Sabin returns with a truly unique slice of 8-Bit pop.
Spectacular remixes come thanks to Hospital Records’ darling Nu:Tone with a sublime drum n bass remix & The Blessings , which has gained huge support from Radio 1’s Rob Da Bank and Zane Lowe and some very early support from John Kennedy (XFM).
Unicorn Kid has been hitting the festival season hard with his electrifying live show, with some spectacular performances at Underage Festival, Camp Bestival, Bestival and T in The Park.
The release of his ‘Lion Hat EP’ in January 2008 saw an explosion of interest with Radio 1 and BBC Scotland becoming huge supporters, and then ‘Dreamcatcher’ set the imagination alight with massive praise coming from the likes of Rob da Bank and Zane Lowe.
Now ‘Wild Life’ continues his march on creating an indelible mark on the underground scene. Expect very big things from Mr Sabin over the next 18 months! Including an album dropping with some features to write home about. This is only the beginning. (less)
