Call their unique musical hybrid Lazer Bass (as a recent New Yorker piece did), call it Digital Crunk or Hyphy Tech, call it what you will, there is no denying the power and excitement buzzing around the movement that they are spearheading.

Armed with their laptops, Trigger Fingers and a arsenal of sound mutilating plug-ins, The Glitch Mob are renowned for their relentless sonic assault on the dance floor, working crowds into a frenzy with their ferocious drums, punishing sub bass, and otherworldly sound design. Their live set reinvents the dj tag-team concept by utilizing up to four djs on stage at once. Musically interacting like a jazz combo, they each take the lead at intuitive moments interweaving their own sounds and shards, remixing everything on the fly. The result is a sound distinctly their own, blending the deep head nod of hip-hop with serious bass music, throwing genre distinctions out the window.

In short order they've become a force to be reckoned with, co-headlining alongside many of the biggest names in electronic music including Diplo, Modeselektor and Plaid, electrifying major venues such as Red Rocks, Nokia Theater and Coachella. They’ve released a handful of critically acclaimed records on their blossoming Glitch Mob Unlimited label (a subsidiary of Alpha Pup), catching the attention of major label artists like Matisyahu and Coheed and Cambria who promptly enlisted their remix and production skills.

The Glitch Mob has been hitting the studio hard in 2008, making time amidst their relentless tour schedule to complete their debut full-length.
