Starting out as a deep n heavy late night workout, Hustler’s acid levels rise and dissolve the track until four minutes in it prolapses into a raw electronic riot, like someone slinging Giorgio Moroder and Josh Wink into a man-sized blender and setting to 10. On top of which, New York singer Char Johnson provides as much sauce as anyone has ever talked about going to a record store.

Ending the year with support slots alongside The Chemical Brothers and Klaxons, which will see them perform at Brixton Academy 4 times and play to over 100,000 people between now and christmas, SMD are set to be at the centre of that foggy netherworld where indie and dance meet in a glorious brawl on the dancefloor.

‘Hustler’ is available on CD, 12” (two versions) and in digital formats that include a mix from Jesse Rose and by Roll Deep.

SMD start the Klaxons tour on Nov 26th and The Chemical Brothers tour on Dec 6th.
