with his production partner at the time, G-Force. The G-Force & Seiji album, Just Another Number, shows the beginnings of his next musical steps with Bugz in the Attic.
He was a founder member of Bugz where they set up a studio, a label and carved out a strong reputation, both individually and collectively, as top remixers and underground electronic Artists. They also jointly ran the legendary Sunday club night/institution, Co-Op. Bugz particularly were known for their remixes which included 4hero, Amy Winehouse, Macy Gray, among many others and they signed to V2 in 2004. With V2 they released a remixes album and a studio album, Back In The Doghouse, and the singles Booty La La and Move Aside.
It was during Seiji's time with Bugz and on the Bugz label, BitaSweet, that he individually released Second Nature and probably his biggest solo underground record, Loose Lips. He has also individually remixed Amy Winehouse, Erykah Badu, Frankmusik, Jazmine Sullivan and released a compilation of his remixes on BitaSweet.
Seiji left Bugz in 2007, since then he has worked with Roisin Murphy Producing and co-writing much of her album, Overpowered, including the single of the same name. On a more underground level he released a fully instrumental album called DJ Tools through Sonar Kollektiv, a single on Man Recordings called Todo Mundo and has started a series called seijigoodies available free and exclusively through his website, www.seiji.co.uk.
