Bio: Love is warm, beautifully soft and with just one breath can send sweet tickle of chills throughout your soul. There is another Lov that shares this same embracing likeness, Sara Lov. One half of the postmodern pop group Devics, Sara’s vocals have been described as Honeyed (NME), Haunting (The Sun), Angelic (The Independent), Hushed (Rock Sound). And Smokey, timbre-rich (MOJO). As the voice of Devics, Sara Lov has been a critical favorite in the UK—where Cocteau Twins’ Simon Raymonde famously signed Devics to Bella Union. Devics toured with such bands as Black Heart Procession, The Delgados and Lift to Experience.
Sara’s new collection of songs to be used on her new CD "Seasoned Eyes Were Beaming" were recorded at the Bank studio with producer/engineer and multi-instrumentalist (and Gnarles Barkley member) Zac Rae. Also lending their talents to this creative output include Alex Church (Sea Wolf) and Solon Bixler (Great Northern).
