Bio: Real Estate is songwriter Martin Courtney on vocals and guitar, Matt Mondanile (of Ducktails and Predator Vision) on guitar, Etienne Duguay (of Predator Vision) on ... (more) drums, and Alex Bleeker on bass. Having grown up playing shows with friends from Vivian Girls and Titus Andronicus, the members of Real Estate have played together in a variety of incarnations since their middle school years in Ridgewood, NJ. Real Estate's songs reflect influences from Paul Mccartney and the Grateful Dead to the Clean and New Jersey's own Yo La Tengo and The Feelies, all the while crafting unique pop songs about what they know: growing up in suburbs and hanging at the shore.
