Bio: Radio 4's last album, Enemies Like This, focused on capturing the qualities of the band's live sound. Upon its release Radio 4 spent all of ... (more) 2006 taking that sound on tour even venturing to unfamiliar territories such as Athens, Greece and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Along the way, tracks from the record were mixed by the likes of Hot Chip, Tim Goldsworthy (DFA), and the Brothers.

While Radio 4 found itself overseas again, kicking off 2007 in Mallorca Spain, the band remained stateside the rest of the year as singer/bassist Anthony Roman awaited the birth of his son Hudson in August. Radio 4's time at home was well spent as they managed a trip out to California to play at the premier of Quiksilver's Young Guns III, a surfing film featuring music by the band. 2007 also saw Radio 4 performing at a benefit hosted by John Varvatos as well as one for Callum Robins at the Bowery Ballroom.

In addition to these shows most of the year was spent writing which lead to a long awaited move into the studio at the onset of 08. These recordings which again found the band teaming up with the Brothers (!!!, Professor Murder), will make up the new Radio 4 album as well as the soundtrack to the feature film Let Fury Have the Hour directed by Antonino D'ambrosio and produced by Tim Robbins and Amnesty Media. The film, which discusses the relationship between politics, rock n roll and popular culture will also include Manu Chao, Rachid Taha, Chuck D and a host of others. (less)
