- Bio: Radar from Southern California, are constantly in the process of developing and re-developing creative and experimental musical landscapes that touch on the subjects of the philosophy of mind control and the global order. They are able to dramatize various voices and personalities to create a storyline throughout their songs both in their live performances and on this album. Very much like Godspeed You Black Emperor, Radar's vocal expertise and leading dexterity match the context of watching a political David Lynch film but adding explosive and experimental post-punk. Integrating trombone, banjo, percussions, synthesizers, and guitar, among other instruments, Radar explore spacey buildups that explode into multi-dimensional epiphonies. Mixing refined sounds from avant-garde artists like The Pop Group, Blonde Redhead, Brian Eno, and Kraftwerk with ruminations of electronica and organ from a range as accurate as Pink Floyd and Can, they possess an original sound and style that has not been heard before.
