Originally Montreal musician Mike Wray's solo side project for several years, MIXYLODIAN has evolved through a one-man band, to a nine-piece horn and string collective, to a five piece boy-girl pop ensemble, to a four piece boy-band, to a two-piece chiptunes dance duo, and everywhere in between.
The current four piece has played over 30 shows since their inceptions in 2007, opening for the likes of XIU XIU, WOODHANDS, THE HILOTRONS, and the SUNPARLOUR PLAYERS, and has received extensive press in the last year for their first EP release, which has recently been released in anticipation of their upcoming full length album.
