- Bio: Canadian hip-hop star k-os is pleased to announce a North American tour this fall, kicking off in Vancouver, BC on October 7. The 19-date tour is right off the heels of k-os' release of the Anchorman Mixtape, 10 brand-new k-os bangers with guest spots from the likes of Drake and Sebastien Grainger (Death From Above 1979). You can download the free mixtape here for a limited time.
Over the coming months, new k-os tracks will be paired as double A-side digital singles, including at least one video and often featuring bonus content, and will be released across digital retailers worldwide. It's a modern-day k-os reinvention on the Motown Records model of issuing 45" vinyl singles in the '60s.
A featured trackfrom the Anchorman Mixtape, BlackWater, will also appear on Playlist for the Planet, a music project sponsored by the David Suzuki Foundation as part of its 20th Anniversary celebrations. K-os is one of several high-profile Canadian musicians creating original music for the project, which is expected to be released later this year.
