Bio: A native of South Korea, Jihae grew up in Nigeria and Sweden, and lived in the UK before settling in NYC. Her love of fine ... (more) arts has led to her to collaborations with numerous multimedia artists including Anna Gaskell, Marco Brambilla and Jeff Gompertz. She has co-written songs with David Steel (English Beat, Fine Young Cannibals) and Duncan Sheik. After critically acclaimed debut album My Heart is an Elephant release in spring '07, Jihae serves up a remix EP Afterthought. 4 remixes from her debut album plus a new single Simple Man will be released on July 1st 2008 digital only release available on iTunes and other digital music sites. The EP was produced by Jeanluc Sinclair a born and raised Parisian whose musical roots stem from studying with Bernard Labadie at an early age. Jeanluc is an electronics composition professor at NYU.
