- Bio: Over the past five years, producer and DJ Jacques Renault has held residence at NYC's famed venues Happy Endings and Tribeca Grand and is currently hosting a 205 Club party showcasing an impressive line-up of weekly guest musicians. Along with friends at DFA Records, Renault is pushing the disco conscious sweep into the new dance-punk scene.
With his edits, original tracks and collaborative project RUNAWAY, Renault has released music on the internationally-acclaimed labels, Italians Do It Better, Editions Disco, and Wurst Edits and is slated to release records on Brennan Green's Chinatown label and Cosmo Vitelli's I'm A Cliché label. As well as getting coveted spots on the Glimmers' Eskimo mix and Lindstrom and Prins Thomas' BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, Mr. Renault appears regularly on Beats In Space and East Village Radio and contributes a weekly show to VIVA Radio. Most recently, Renault was named “DJ Of The Year” by nightlife bible Paper Magazine. (less)
