Bio: Welcome to the strange and wonderful world of Eightcubed. Originating from the underground dance scene in Toronto, Canada, Rex Zeal aka Eightcubed is creating a unique musical blend of 8bit meets Italo Disco, all combined with the unforgettable blips and blurts of a computer gone very alive. "I imagine sometimes that the music I make is something R2-D2 from Star Wars would listen to. It’s unfortunate though he’s an awful dancer." Gaining popular attention with radio play in North America and Europe, he has hit 10th on the KUCR 88.9FM Los Angeles radio and 8th on the CJLO 1690AM Montreal radio - just to name a few, as well as having interviews with Toronto’s hip Now Magazine, and recently being featured on Much Music’s alternative television show "The Wedge".
