- Bio: Equipped with an array of samplers, sequencers and vintage synthesizers, San Francisco wunderkinds Broker/Dealer make catchy minimal electronic music equally suited for the den or the dancefloor. Featuring subterranean basslines, ambient synths, dubby beats and lush pop melodies, Broker/Dealer’s punchy tracks and melodic nuances have been eliciting comparisons to the likes of Mouse on Mars and Thomas Brinkmann since
the release of their first 12” on the Cologne label Traum Schallplatten. After several more 12” releases, Broker/Dealer released their first full-length album, Initial Public Offering, on Asphodel. After creating a remix for Traum artist Process and contributions to mixes on Kompakt and Fabric, Broker/Dealer have made the move to Spectral Sound for their latest 12”, “Opening Night”/”After Hours”.
