- Bio: The Copenhagen based band Blue Foundation started in 2000, releasing their first single on MoshiMoshi (Hot Chip, Bloc Party etc.) and their 1st, self-titled album soon after. Blue foundations major break came with the release of their 2nd album “Sweep of Days”. The album features radio hits such as “As I Moved On”, “End of the Day” & “Save This Town”. The award winning album also gave life to tracks such as “Sweep” which later appeared in Michael Mann’s “Miami Vice – The movie” and gave Blue Foundation an international fanbase. Blue Foundation toured intensively in Scandinavia promoting “Sweep of Days” but also played Germany, Japan, England and even the Faroe Island. “Sweep of Days” has so far sold more than 40 000 CD’s.
Alongside Blue Foundation several of the members have been active in other projects. Bichi and Tatsuki collaborated with DJ Krush on his album “Jaku”. Bichi produced “Notwithstanding” for Hobby Ind.
Blue foundations released their 3rd album “Life of a Ghost” in Denmark and Norway in 2007 and was very well received. The band is on tour.
