- Bio: Right off the heels of dropping a sick remix of The Deftones’ “Prince,” Bassnectar is pleased to release the first single off his upcoming Wildstyle EP, “Wildstyle Method” featuring 40 Love. Wildstyle is a seven-song journey from one end of the Bassnectar spectrum to the other. Get hit with some banging hip-hop beats on “Wildstyle Method” featuring 40 Love, travel to another world with the ethereal “Underwater” featuring Tina Malia, and end the ride playing with some guests on “Fun with Synthesizers”. A wide array of sounds, but all signed with the brain-rattling signature of Bassnectar. A full tracklisting is below.
Bassnectar, the brainchild of Lorin Ashton, is currently touring the country and will have hit nearly every nook and cranny of the continent before 2010 sees its end. This short video was created based on footage from the first three weeks of the sold out tour as Lorin made his way from the swamps of Florida, through the dirty south, to Tennessee and Big ol Texas.
