On "The Hearse," new Polyvinyl signees Wampire flex a take on propulsive pop that's equally deranged and demented. Like John Maus if John Maus were a band and sang like a human, this one (and much of their upcoming debut record Curiosity) was produced by Jake Portrait from Unknown Mortal Orchestra.
