"Feels Like We Only Go Backwards" is the ear-worm centerpiece of Tame Impala's brain-melting Lonerism – an album with such overwhelming sonics that it's easy to ignore the semi-depressing lyrics throughout. Memory Tapes seems to pick-up on that, though, with this hodgepodge remix fitted with overweight bass and twinkling bell-laden propulsion.
