Is Clams Casino going pop? Well, sure, on this intriguing collaboration with songwriter Mikky Ekko. After hearing Ekko's work, Clams summoned him to New York for a collaboration and writing session, and "Pull Me Down" is the first taste – a lovely, knocking piece of pop confidence that's dotted with melancholy texture by Clams' trademark atmospheric production. Ekko, who also co-produced this one, has also worked with Paul Epworth and Dave Sitek on his debut album, which is coming in 2013 via RCA.
