STREAM: Four Tet - Lion (Jamie xx Remix)
Last Friday in Brooklyn, Four Tet and Jamie xx hooked-up for a duo DJ set that earned raves and you-had-to-be-theres while leaving many a young soul crying in the line outside. Good thing there's this new Jamie xx remix of "Lion" as a sonic keepsake. Easing-in with sounds of honking horns and wind, the track takes its time to develop a wobbly sense of serene space. Drums come and go, piano drives to the heart and eventually everything builds to a patient pick-up of metallic chirps and bells.
